How to Use Cinergy on Windows 7
The Cinergy 2400i DT digital video tuners designed for Windows computers. The Cinergy tuner and software allows desktop computers to receive and display DVB-T digital television, the standard format for over-the-air DTV in Europe and parts of Asia. Installation requires access to your computer's motherboard, so only intermediate and advanced computer users should attempt to install the card. An open PCI-Express card slot on the motherboard is required. The Cinergy card is not compatible with notebook or laptop computers.

Instructions

Shut down your computer. Remove all power and data cables and place the computer on a clean, sturdy table.

Use the screwdriver to remove the screws holding the right access panel in place. Set the screws in a cup or bowl for safekeeping. Remove the access panel and set it aside.



3.Remove the screw holding the access plate next to the PCI-Express slot. Remove the plate and set it aside. Slide the Cinergy card into the slot, pressing gently on the back of the card, then the front until it clicks into place. Replace the screw to hold the card in place.

Replace the access panel and screw it into place. Place your computer in its normal location and plug in the power and data cables.

Plug the Infra-red receiver into an open USB port and place it on your desk (or any easily-visible location.) Plug in the antenna and AC power cable into the Cinergy tuner card. Plug the AC cable into a power socket. Press the power button.

Log in to Windows. Allow any automatic driver installation to continue - press "OK" or "Next" as instructed. Your computer may restart automatically. Press the "Eject" button on your CD or DVD drive, insert the retail disc, then close the drive.

Follow the setup instructions that appear on your screen to install the driver and media software. If you do not see the software screen appear, click the "Start" button, then "Computer." Double-click the TerraTec Cinergy 2400i DT Installation CD icon, then double-click "Setup.exe.
