How to Plug a Satellite TV Into a Digibox

The DigiBox from Sky is a British-based satellite television provider. The content does not work in the United States (as the satellite is oriented for use in the UK). Connecting the DigiBox to a satellite television is no different than hooking up other satellite receivers. The cables used are the same, so even if you are familiar with American-based satellite receivers, you shouldn't have a problem with plugging the equipment together.

Connect the RCA audio cables into the "Audio Out" port on the DigiBox receiver. Insert the free ends of the cables into the "Audio In" ports on the satellite ready television.

Attach the component cables into the "Component Out" ports on the DigiBox satellite receiver. Insert the other ends of the cables into the "Component In" ports on the satellite ready television set.

Power on the Sky DigiBox receiver, then the TV and choose "Component Video" from the list of inputs. The DigitBox satellite content appears on the television set.
