If you can't find the sorts of electronics you're looking for at a particular store, ask the staff if they know where you could find a GPS or tracking device jammer. Often they'll be able to point you in a new direction, or to offer a catalog or website that will prove helpful.

Be very aware of just what you're buying, and from whom. If the company selling this equipment is outside of the country, or looks shady in some way, then you should move on and try to find a comparable product from another dealer. The Samsung Rant SPH-M540 has a built-in GPS transmitter used for calls to 911 and location based services such as Sprint's Family Locator. As a safety feature, you cannot disable the GPS completely. However, you can block the GPS signal for all services except emergency calls by turning off the Rant's location feature. When the location feature is disabled, the phone will display an icon of a target with a red diagonal slash. When the location feature is enabled, the target icon appears without a slash.

Press the "MENU/OK" key to open the main menu on the Rant.

Highlight "Settings" using the directional pad and press "MENU/OK."




3.Select "More..." and press "MENU/OK." The phone will display a disclaimer on the screen.

Check through your list of programs to determine if a piece of remote control software is installed on your computer. These programs will usually have the acronym "VNC" within the title. Programs without the VNC in the title are LogMeIn and GoToMyPC. These programs can be set to run in the background without your knowledge. If you did not install these programs, someone is likely spying on your computer. Simply check through all your programs and then Google them to determine if they are programs you would like on your computer.

Check for hidden VNC programs by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "Windows Firewall."



3.Check the exceptions tab and identify programs that are allowed by your computer to be run through the ports. If there are any programs that you cannot identify, Google them to see if they are VNC programs.

Press "Alt" "Ctrl" and "Delete" simultaneously to bring up the Windows Task Manager. Click "Processes" and check to see if any processes are being run under a name other than yours. If so, someone is likely spying on your computer. You can terminate this process if you want or try to find out who is running this process.

Navigate using the phone by going to the "Menu," and opening up the program. When it opens, you will see a map along with blinking dot denoting your location. Track a person or vehicle by making sure that the GPS application is activated on your phone. Then go to the website where you registered, and log on. Install the GPS in your car. Use a hands-free Bluetooth kit. This will allow you to connect your phone to your car's speakers, and to use your GPS phone hands-free. These also come with a cell phone holder, so that you can see the maps at eye level without having to hold the phone . If you get Google Maps for Mobile or AmazeGPS, you will be able to get turn-by-turn audio directions and use voice commands to operate your GPS.

Access the main menu of your Blackberry Curve and click the "Options" icon.

Click "Advanced Options" and highlight "GPS."

Find a spot outside of your home with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. Turn on your GPS receiver and wait a few minutes for it to align its signal with a satellite.

Select the "Set Up Bluetooth" on your Curve's main menu. The Blackberry will scan for any Bluetooth device in the area. If your Bluetooth receiver has found its signal, the Blackberry will recognize it.

Go to "Blackberry Maps" on the main menu and highlight the "GPS Device" option. Your Blackberry Curve will sync up to the Bluetooth receiver and your GPS is now enabled.
