With all of the identification technology that's currently on the electronics market, from caller ID to GPS tracking chips, it was only a matter of time until people starting asking for and using counter-tracking equipment. For those who are concerned that their vehicle has a tracking device on it, for instance, there are GPS and tracking jammers available at a fairly reasonable price. However, with government regulation and crackdowns on this equipment, some of it may be difficult to find
Instructions
1
Search the Internet. A lot of websites that purport to sell tracking device jammers will come up. Some companies, like spygearco.com are fairly reliable, and they offer a variety of useful products.
2
Go to local security or police supply stores. These stores often sell uniforms, duty belts, holsters and a variety of different electronic devices. Some will have tracking device jammers, or the employees should be able to direct your search elsewhere.
3
Check with local pawnshops. This is something of a last ditch effort, and it will not likely yield good results, but pawn brokers often carry a unique number of interesting products. Sometimes they will have very specific types of electronics, such as tracking device jammers.
Tips & Warnings
If you can't find the sorts of electronics you're looking for at a particular store, ask the staff if they know where you could find a GPS or tracking device jammer. Often they'll be able to point you in a new direction, or to offer a catalog or website that will prove helpful.
Be very aware of just what you're buying, and from whom. If the company selling this equipment is outside of the country, or looks shady in some way, then you should move on and try to find a comparable product from another dealer. Also, check your local laws to make sure it's legal for you to own a tracking device jammer, since many states and cities have laws against civilian possession of these items.

How to Know If People Are Spying on Your Computer
How to Know If People Are Spying on Your Computer
In Windows XP and Vista, it is impossible for two users to connect to one computer simultaneously. However, software exists that can hack this process. By detecting this software, a computer owner can discover whether or not someone is spying on her computer. Then, steps can be taken to stop the snooping
Instructions
1
Check through your list of programs to determine if a piece of remote control software is installed on your computer. These programs will usually have the acronym "VNC" within the title. Programs without the VNC in the title are LogMeIn and GoToMyPC. These programs can be set to run in the background without your knowledge. If you did not install these programs, someone is likely spying on your computer. Simply check through all your programs and then Google them to determine if they are programs you would like on your computer.
2
Check for hidden VNC programs by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "Windows Firewall."
3.Check the exceptions tab and identify programs that are allowed by your computer to be run through the ports. If there are any programs that you cannot identify, Google them to see if they are VNC programs.
4
Press "Alt" "Ctrl" and "Delete" simultaneously to bring up the Windows Task Manager. Click "Processes" and check to see if any processes are being run under a name other than yours. If so, someone is likely spying on your computer. You can terminate this process if you want or try to find out who is running this process.

How to Make a Homemade GPS System
A homemade GPS (global positioning system) can be used to keep track of someone else's movements, or you can use it to help you navigate in unfamiliar areas. You can also use it as a tool to log your movement for the past 30 days. This way, you can retrace your steps if you have misplaced something. A homemade GPS system doesn't cost much to make. In fact, if you have a mobile phone that can access the Internet, then all you will need is a GPS software.
Instructions
1
Buy a mobile phone that has Internet capability. You can purchase one from online retailers such as Walmart, Buy, and Amazon. In 2010, a cell phone that can get Internet access costs about $100.
2
Decide on a mobile GPS tracking software. A few that are available include Google Maps for Mobile, AmazeGPS and Mologogo. As of 2010, these applications are all free of charge. All of these allow you to track your phone using a computer or other Internet enabled device. They also give you the ability to navigate from your phone.
3.Sign up with the service that you have chosen by going to their web site and entering a user name, password, cell phone number and email address. Wait for a text message, and once you receive it, go to the link provided. This takes you to a page where you can download the GPS software.
4
Download the GPS application to your phone, and click on the file to begin the installation. Once the installation has completed, restart the phone.
5
Navigate using the phone by going to the "Menu," and opening up the program. When it opens, you will see a map along with blinking dot denoting your location. As you move, the dot will move, letting you know where you are in relation to the map. If you want directions to a specific address, click on the "Search" tab at the top of the screen.
6
Track a person or vehicle by making sure that the GPS application is activated on your phone. Then go to the website where you registered, and log on. A map will appear, and on top of it you will see a blinking red dot with the GPS coordinates of the phone. You are provided with the longitude, latitude, speed and heading of the phone. You can also check the movement of the phone over the past 30 days by clicking on the "History" tab at the top.
7
Install the GPS in your car. Use a hands-free Bluetooth kit. This will allow you to connect your phone to your car's speakers, and to use your GPS phone hands-free. These also come with a cell phone holder, so that you can see the maps at eye level without having to hold the phone . If you get Google Maps for Mobile or AmazeGPS, you will be able to get turn-by-turn audio directions and use voice commands to operate your GPS.

With a host of features including internet access, text-messaging and media player, one of the more unique features on a Blackberry Curve is a built-in GPS (Global Positioning Device) system. So if you're planning on using your Blackberry as a directional device, then follow this simple guide
Instructions
Enabling GPS on the Blackberry Curve
1
Access the main menu of your Blackberry Curve and click the "Options" icon.
2
Click "Advanced Options" and highlight "GPS."
3.Select "GPS" and press the "Menu" key.
4
Click "Refresh GPS." The longitude and latitude coordinates should appear on the screen and GPS should be enabled.
5.Purchase a Bluetooth GPS receiver (available at any electronics store.) A limited number of Blackberry Curve models do not come with a pre-installed GPS device. If yours didn't, then purchase a Bluetooth GPS receiver.
6
Find a spot outside of your home with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. Turn on your GPS receiver and wait a few minutes for it to align its signal with a satellite.
7
Select the "Set Up Bluetooth" on your Curve's main menu. The Blackberry will scan for any Bluetooth device in the area. If your Bluetooth receiver has found its signal, the Blackberry will recognize it.
8
Click the Bluetooth receiver in the "Select Device" box.
9
Go to "Blackberry Maps" on the main menu and highlight the "GPS Device" option. Your Blackberry Curve will sync up to the Bluetooth receiver and your GPS is now enabled.
